Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Terms & Conditions:

Account: means all that information about You that is collected when You sign up on the Service or information that you provide while using the Service. User Account also includes content that is uploaded on the Service. The unique Account is created for You to access part or all of our Services.

Application: means the software program called CommuteIt App provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device or opened through web browser.

Company: (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to CommuteIt.

Device: means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

Feedback: means feedback, innovations or suggestions sent by You regarding the attributes, performance or features of our Service.

Information: means any or all information collected about you when you sign up, such as email and name.

Service: refers to the Application.

Terms & Conditions: (also referred as Terms) mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.

Third Party: means any services or content (including data, information, products or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included or made available by the Service.

User: (also referred to as You, Your) means the individual or organization accessing or using the Service, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. When You sign up or register You become a Registered User (RU) otherwise You are a Non-Registered User (NRU).

Contract

When you sign up or register on the Application, you agree to the terms and conditions herein specified. If you do not agree, you can at any time stop using the Services. If you are a RU, you can delete your account. When You use our Services, you are also subject to our Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy, which covers what and how we collect, use, share, and store your personal information.

You confirm that you are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.

Information and content you provide

You have the right to share and publish the information and content that you provide on the application, and that the information and content are true and not falsified.

You own all of the content and personal information you provide to us or publish in the application. You grant us a non-exclusive license to your content, including rights to publish it in our application. You accept that there is no geographical limitation for users who can see, copy, use or share your content.

When you publish content on our services or upload information to our application, others can see, copy, use and share that content or information. When you publish content, you do so for free without any compensation.

You agree to provide content and information that is true. You agree to only provide content or information that does not violate the law in any country, cause dissension, promote unlawful behaviour, defame or discriminate. You agree not to violate anyon's rights (property rights, proprietary, copyright, right of publicity etc.), nor infringe on other's patents, trademarks and trade secrets.

You agree not to provide content or information containing viruses or malware or software designed to alter the functionality of the services. You agree not to implement software to scrape the site or bypass any security features on the service. You agree not to reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Services.

You are solely responsible for the Content and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether done so by You or any one with access to Your account.

You can delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, all your content and information are deleted from the application after a reasonable time that it takes to remove all deleted content from our backend servers and databases. The deleted content, prior to it being deleted, may have been seen, copied, used or shared by other users.

Feedback You Provide

You assign all rights, title and interest in any Feedback You provide to Us. When you submit suggestions and feedback regarding our services, such suggestions and feedback can be used by us for any purpose, without restriction and without compensation to you.

Service We Provide

We do not review content before it is published, and so, by using the Services, you may see content or information that may be inappropriate, incorrect, incomplete, derogatory or harmful. You agree that we cannot be held liable for such content.

We reserve the right to determine whether or not any Content or Information complies with the Terms stated herein. Our rights may extend beyond the terms stated herein without any explanation to you. We reserve the right to delete your account or terminate our services to You, without any prior notice or liability, if you have been found to breach any part of this terms or terms not included in this document. Upon termination, all content and information about you will be systematically deleted.

We do not validate content and information that is published by users, and so, on our site, you may be exposed to content and information that you may find false, discriminatory or offensive. Accordingly, we cannot be held liable for content or information you find on our site.

While using the service, your identity is not exposed to the general public, but only to the event organizer who uploads your name and contact details as one of their guests. You agree that you will take all necessary precautions not to expose your identity when using our service. If you do, you are aware of the risks and you agree that we cannot be held liable for any outcomes. You understand that the other users may provide misleading or inaccurate information and so you will take all precautions to validate such information.

We reserve the right to delete or edit content that do not conform to the terms stated herein.

We rely on third party cloud storage for your content. We do not guarantee there will be no partial or total deletion / changes / corruption of your content.

Our Service includes links to third-party web sites and services. Our terms and conditions do not extend to those web sites and services owned by third-parties

Resolution For Intellectual Property Infringement

If You find content or information that violates the your rights or those of someone else, you must submit a notice via email to contact@eventguestmanager.com, with evidence of the alleged violations. Your submission does not guarantee that the content will be immediately removed from our site, but puts us on notice and initiates our investigations. Accordingly, you promise not to misrepresent such a notice.

Disclaimer

The service is being offered in its current condition without any guarantees, warranties, or promises of any kind. You agree to accept the service without any assurances regarding its quality, performance, functionality, or suitability for a particular purpose.

In no event shall We be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the Services, even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You assume all risks and responsibilities associated with the use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless our Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services or any violation of this Disclaimer.

Disputes Resolution and Governing Law

This Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. If You have any disagreement or contention with the Service, you agree to first try to resolve it directly with the Company. In the unlikely event there is a legal dispute, you agree to resolve it in Nigeria.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, without any prior notice. You agree to check for updated versions to this agreement.
